A most important part of a man’s relationship with a woman is the Sexual intimacy that they share. Maharishi Vatsayan wrote the text of Kamasutra, a book that gave details on the practice of sex and how to make it more pleasurable and also spiritual for both the man and woman. In the ayurvedic texts of CharakaSamhita, there is mention about sex. From time as long as 3000 years ago saints and ascetics of India have given complete solutions for all conceivable sexual problems.
Ayurveda describes sex as an integral part of our dincharya (daily habits). In Ayurveda sexual problems and disabilities are regarded as fallout of an aggravated vata. When this vital energy is aggravated, our immunity is reduced and we are emotionally vulnerable. An aggravated kapha, makes you feel more jealous and possessive of your partner. These doshasin fact have an effect on the intimacy and sexual performance.
